Roadtrip Day 2: St. Louis and Atlanta

Amelia Island, Florida

Ahhh, feels so good to be breathing the salty air again. Not to mention the feeling of not having school for two weeks.

To start off this lovely spring break, me and my family spent that past two and a half days on a little road trip, driving down here to Florida. I won’t dwell on this because, to be honest, nothing too exciting happened. Oh, scratch that. If you ever want to get you heart beating a little big, try driving through downtown Atlanta, GA at night. That’ll put you on your toes. We also stopped at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. We rode to the top in this little rickity capsul. I have to confess, it was incredible. The view from the top was awe-inspiring. I highly recommend taking a visit if you’re ever in the area.

Anyways, we’re how now and that’s all that matters. Can’t say that we did anything too exciting today. We went to this amazing Mexican restaurant named Peppers for dinner and walked on the beach for a little bit with Marcus and Thomas playing ‘Never have I ever’ and ‘Would you rather’…definitey some quality bonding time 🙂

So that’s that. I have a couple pictures from the top of the arch. Unfortunately, my pictures don’t really do the experience justice; although it was fun to play with the light and dark contrast.

Side note: Speaking of light and dark contrast, it’s something that I’ve been playing around with lately and i must say, i’m liking the outcomes so far…more pictures to come later.

These are really the only ones that I thought were worthy. Enjoy!
